40 weeks back pain

Today is my due date and not expecting little mans arrival but since I woke up this morning with the most terrible intense back pain all day constantly and painful tightenings but irregular also had 3rd sweep today just hoping this pain is a cause for something to happen

Hi - I had 'really bad constipation' pain in my lower back/bottom (and didn't feel any pain in my tummy at all) which started 2.5 hours before DC1 was born... I didn't believe I was in labour although definitely thought I needed to go to hospital to get an enema or something!! (I believed I was when my waters broke getting out of the bath...) So it might mean your baby is pushing down hard on your cervix and on it's way. Maybe... Sounds like pre-labour warm up pains at least though. Good luck!!
