hi my friend has just found out she is pregnant again ...
she already has 3 girls, she lost her baby son at 2 weeks old due to cot death .
this will be her 5th c-section, she is obviously concerned about the risks with having so many sections.
wondered if anyone else has got any experience of this or if any mw's can give her some much needed advice..
thanks

There is a mum here (she doesn't have time to post much) who has had SEVEN.

She is called zipper - do a search on her name.

(I have had 4 and there are some others here too)

cant offer any advice, but one of my customers at work has had 7 sections, she is in her 60's now (I think).
Years ago when her GP advised her to stop having babies she said "but what am I supposed to say to Paddy when he comes home drunk on a saturday night?" (I live in good aul catholic Ireland btw

(another one for the irish clique gloworm )

no advice for your friend joec but i'm sure her obstetrician will run through all the risks and details with her in good time

I think the record is 11, so she has a way to go yet!
