OK - they have reappeared. I had them last time but that was getting on for four years ago and I can't remember if I can do anything to sort them out.

They are very itchy and it's not really done in polite company to have a good scratch is it?

Please can anyone give me a remedy?

(or do I have to put up them for the next 20 weeks )

haven't spoken to MW yet about them - they only just appeared this week. Was thinking about going to the GP for a prescription for the piles anyway ( - doncha just love pregnancy?!) but thought I would ask the great source of experience and advice that is MN first!!

I found that wearing a thick sanitary towel sometimes helped - gave them a bit of support, and stopped them aching.

I use sudocreme on the more external areas, and canesten on the more internal areas, also pantyliners which I change as frequently as poss, and even change knickers once or twice a day whenever I can. It seems to keep me a little more comfortable.

Mumsnet has advised me to sit on a icepack. I find also that sitting on a cushion and keeping my legs together whenever possible (a bit late for that ) seems to squeeze my bits and keep them a bit more comfortable.

I wonder what would happen if men got pregnant
