Carbon monoxide test reading of 6 at booking appointment

Hi,
I had my booking appointment today, I did the routine CO test, not even really thinking about it. I have never ever smoked and nor does my husband. My reading came up as a 6! I felt a bit like the midwife thought I was lying! The boiler has been recently serviced, so that shouldn't be an issue. We do live near a main road though. Has anyone else had a similar reading despite not smoking and should I be worried?
Thanks!

Boatrace- that's interesting. I live in Dorset but very close to hampshire border and come under Wiltshire! Im having the baby in Salisbury. I wonder if we have the same midwife with the dodgy machine!!

Definitely get a carbon monoxide alarm fitted, have your boiler rechecked. A friend of mine works for a gas company and the test at the midwife has flagged up loads of dodgy appliances!

Wiggly - that is interesting! I am also due to have the baby in Salisbury - I live in Ringwood, and come under the 'Forest team' of midwives. I was looking at my notes this evening and was annoyed to notice that she has ticked the box for a referral to 'smoking cessation services'. I have literally never so much as tried a cigerette! She also got my BMI wrong (not relevant, but annoying as it makes me look overweight when I am not!)

I understand from one of the MW that share my office that there is a new target to get as many women as possible referred to "smoking cessation services". This may explain any referral boxes ticked in error.
