We bought second hand (rarely used and great condition) pram/pushchair. It's a baby elegance pebble,I really like it BUT it didn't come with a rain cover.I find it hard to find one for a pram.Found one on Amazon but I was wandering if I can find one in the high street shop and if anyone knows can I get universal one?
Another thing I am panicking about is,I don't have a car seat. We are not driving for the past two years, will they let us out with a pram from hospital or is car seat mandatory? Also (sorry I am really panicking) how do I know which car seat would fit our chassis?
Thank you so much.I am 38 weeks so I feel little panicky.......Flowers

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I always thought there was a law. So apologies. My sister in law has been refused by taxis for not having a car seat. As has my friend so I thought this must be universal across the UK.

I think from a safety perspective, having the baby in a sling whilst you are buckled in would be a lot safer than leaving baby in a pushchair. which as I said above, would provide exactly zero protection in the event of an (admittedly unlikely) accident. But ideally a car seat is the most sensible safest thing to do.

I forgot to add, I hope you enjoy your last few weeks of pregnancy and good luck/best wishes for labour Flowers

Thank you Sarkymare for your advice.Baby will be in the pram (carry cot).I know that car seat would be ideal but I won't need it again. If needed at later stage it will be bought but now it wont be used.
Honestly ,I was really worried a lot but now I am bit more relaxed Smile
