Title says it all really - at this stage last tome (DS now 15 months) I looked and felt terrible. Apart from slightly sore boobs and v sensitive nipples, am feeling great. Worried as a result that there is somethng wrong..,Anyone?

I felt ok but tired at that stage. No real nausea throughout but dry retching/ gagging kicked in around 11 weeks. Give it time !

Sorry - seriously though, congratulations and glad you're feeling so great! Enjoy!

incy · 05/10/2006 10:05

Yes I am the same (7 wks) and was the same with DS1. Unfortunately last time (and fingers crossed not same for you) from about 8 weeks I had really bad morning sickness until about 13 weeks. So enjoy it, do not worry and hope you remain OK.

melrose · 05/10/2006 10:07

I was not sick at all with my DS, just tired at times, stressed me out too! It does not mean there is anything wrong!

Thanks -I think too much knowledge is a dangerous thing! For some reason paranoid about a missed miscarriage as have read so much about them on MN.....

I was about to start a similar thread myself. Apert from feeling tired in the afternoon and very bloated after eating all I have had is a bit of an unsettled tummy but no sickness. I hear everyone say that morning sickness is a sign of a good strong pregnancy so this worries me no end (I'm 5+4 btw)

foundintranslation · 05/10/2006 20:31

yes, I had virtually no sickness etc. throughout (revenged by chucking up quite spectacularly in labour ) (emotionally I was all over the place mind you)

lucycat · 05/10/2006 20:31

many congrats alexh!

I loved being pregnant with dd2, (I was at work with dd1 so felt like crap most of the time ayway!) my hair was thick and glossy and I looked really healthy (makes me sound like a cocker spaniel doesn't it )

I grew fantastic boobs too.

I did feel tired at about 9pm, but put that down to running round after a toddler. Long may feeling great last!

"I hear everyone say that morning sickness is a sign of a good strong pregnancy"

don't listen to these people: they are talking arse.

Gingerbear · 05/10/2006 21:02

I am 7 weeks and at this stage last time I was puking for England. This time I have voluptuous norks, indegestion after eating and knackered in the early evenings, but feel just fine.

ja9 · 05/10/2006 21:03

i was feeling fab at 6 weeks then at 6.5 wks it all changed...

high hormone does not necessarily = sickness. As I understand it, many women (I think it's something like 60-70%) react to the hCG by feeling sick, but some do not and everything is still OK.

fruitful · 05/10/2006 21:16

I felt great both times, for long enough to worry myself silly that something was wrong. Then, as ja9 says, it all changed! Somewhere between 6 and 8 weeks. Although I was never sick, just more exhausted than I thought possible (even 2nd time around, when I knew how exhausted a non-sleeping 9-mth-old can make you!).

oh right! sorry, I didn't realise that dropping a well-placed "generally" into a statement renders it completely immune from any kind of challenge. I must remember that.

emzickle · 06/10/2006 08:43

I didnt have any morning sickness thank god, and im now 39+3... so long may in continue!

Teaandcake · 06/10/2006 08:52

No sickness here either. Am now 18 weeks and have pretty much no pregnancy symptoms (only heartburn really). Tiredness wore off at around 14 weeks.

I didn't really believe I was pg until we saw it on the 12 week scan.

God, even feeling well makes us worry!

Juicylucythe2nd · 06/10/2006 09:08

I'm 6+3 and no morning sickness yet, but defo slight nausea. With my missed mc didn't get to the nausea stage, but believe ms only affects 2 out of 3 people, so wouldn't be too worried.

I have a friend who is 39+ and never had a moment of it and has enjoyed a great pg.

naughtymummy · 06/10/2006 09:25

Think that is to do with how you cope with the hormones of this pregnancy. I think that symptoms are less pronounced 2nd time round, because your body is used to it,certainly true for me. Felt like sh$t for weeks first time round this time as you say just tiredness at night. I also think you notice less if running about after a toddler.

I am 40+4 weeks now and baby seems fine

frenchconnection · 06/10/2006 10:51

no need for bitchiness
you know who you are!!

madeindevon · 06/10/2006 11:01
