Will adhesions cause problems later on?

I had an ectopic in April and had my left tube removed along with a lot of endometrial plaques. The surgeon commented that I had some adhesions caused by the endo and previous sections, plus he noted that I had adhesions connecting my bladder to my uterus. He didn't remove those though.

I'm now 7 weeks pregnant and it's on my mind that these could cause problems as I get bigger.

dependent on where the adhesions are (particularly the ones from your bladder to your uterus) you can experience pain in that area as your pregnancy progresses. I've always found the difficult part with this is trying to decipher whether it is scar tenderness or pain from the adhesions.

If you decide to go for another CS then it may be a slower process than you remember with your others due to them needing to take their time dividing and removing the adhesions. I would think there would be a slightly increased risk of bladder damage at CS because of this, but I would ask your consultant about that nearer to the time.
