Not felt any movement/kicks

I'm 19+3 & I'm still yet to feel my baby move .
This has got me pretty worried & I'm not sure wether I'm been daft or not as this is my first .

I asked my Midwife & she said the hospital will not do a scan to check baby is ok as they are too busy & I should just wait til my next scan (which is next monday)
.Should I just leave it ?

I was about 21 weeks before I felt any movement with my first and to start with they were very intermittent. I had an anterior placenta too, it definitely makes a difference.

Will your mw not listen to the heartbeat for you? With a doppler I mean? Mine was very good with stuff like that.
