So today I had to do a urine sample at hospital but I didn't need a wee so stupidly took a small mouth of tap water . I realised and immediately spat it out - will I get ill?

What is wrong with tap water?

Aley009 · 04/11/2014 17:58

I was just worried that it was hospital tap water I assume you shouldn't drink that

Wouldn't hospital tap water be even safer if you're following that train of thought? On account of all the sick people n' that?

Aley009 · 04/11/2014 18:08

I just thought about some things on the news a while back in some places where the water was contaminated (UK) but I'm not gonna lie I'm a huge worrier !

I used to work in a hospital & drank the tap water whilst pregnant. Both me & dd are fine!!

ilovepowerhoop · 04/11/2014 18:18

unless the taps had signs at them saying that it was not drinking water then the water should be perfectly fine to drink

Aley009 · 04/11/2014 18:49

I was just worrying as it was the tap in the wash room area , but I guess it's the same water supply? and no no signs about drinking it, I guess it would be the same as using it to brush teeth etc as it wasn't swallowed anyway
