4 BFPs but now I'm bleeding. I'm 4+6 or 6 days left. Is there any hope?

Title pretty much says it all.

Taken several BFPs (but none for a couple of days) and I'm now 4+6 (or 6 days late as it were) and now I have just started bleeding :( it's more than spotting, like the start of a period.

Is it all over? Or is there any hope?

I'm not quite sure what to do or if I should do anything.

Google seems to suggest it could go either way and there seem to be positive stories out there. Though of course I'm also assuming chemical pregnancy and this is over.

Anyone experienced similar?

Sorry autocorrect seems to have messed up my title!

Should read 6 days late

The timing sounds like the implantation bleeding I had with both dc. Do you feel crampy?

Daveface · 29/10/2014 18:32

No, no cramping at all.

I thought implantation bleeding was more like spotting though?

Oh Hun. There's not much I can say that can make you feel any better. I had a Chemical Preg last year, I basically ended up just having a period as I tested positive just before I was due on. If the bleeding gets any heavier this may be happening to you, but I've heard of lots of Miracles. Maybe phone your Docs in the morning? Sorry I can't help you. Wishing u all the best Thanks Cake

I've had both implantation bleeding and miscarriages. The implantation bleed happened a few days before my period was due and was fairly light, like the first bit of a period. It wasn't enough to warrant a tampon. My miscarriages both happened at six weeks and started with light brown bleeding, then it got redder and heavier over a few days and then cramping and lots of bleeding.

It's a horrible time you poor thing as it's so full of anxiety and there's nothing any doctor can do either way. I hope everything works out ok. If it doesn't, you have my sympathy. Rest up and be kind to yourself. Thanks

Thank you.

The not knowing is the worst part. And googling is not really helping as there are stories that suggest it could go either way.

I guess all I can do is see what

Sorry... Not sure what happened there!

How are you today OP?

EATmum · 30/10/2014 09:18

Good luck OP. I had what I thought was a full (if lighter than normal) period with DD1, so didn't discover I was pregnant till later. I bled in the early weeks with all three of my DC. I remember how terrifying it was, and how hard it was to handle when there was nothing I could do about it either way. Hope very much that you have a positive outcome. Thanks

Thank you.

Still bleeding but no cramps or pain, so no idea what that means.
