Being induced this Saturday. Any tips/advice/hints and stories to help me would be much appreciated! Feeling a little scared.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I was induced with DD, my first, 2 weeks overdue because I had pretty much zero measurable fluid left around her. Was quite a rushed thing... Had scan, told to go home whilst they sorted a bed out, come back at 11 at night and I was popped onto a drip to induce labour sometime after midnight.

It came thick and fast, but honestly as a first labour goes it wasn't bad at all. I had to stay on the bed because DD had a monitoring clip attached to her head but it was fine. I was pretty much silent until time to push. I just remember shaking with the pain for the last hour!

From induction to giving birth it took 9 hours.

Good luck, you will be absolutely fine Smile it'll progress a lot quicker than a natural birth maybe but that's not always a bad thing!

Thanks Naice, sounds like a positive experience for you. Have heard mixed reports, anyone else got any experiences to share?
