Please can people give me some questions to ask with regards to planned induction towards planned c section I have read some of the information my midwife gave me but she is doing a letter on my behalf to ask for one of these so I get the monitoring she feels I need in labour due to me passing out up to ten times a day I know side effects etc but I think it would help my case if I have some questions ready but not sure really what to ask has anyone been in this situation and has some pointer?

How far along are you? How soon are you looking at having the section / induction?

It might be the case that baby will need a NICU bed depending on how big they are, so it's worth finding out what space is like in your local NICU unit.

Induction can make labour pain quite intense, what pain relief are you looking at, if you were looking at a natural birth it might be worth getting information on medication just so you are prepared.

Some hospitals from what I've been reading are letting people you before three days after a section, it might be worth checking how long people generally staying after a section at your hospital.
