Hi all,

Just wondering what I should expect at my 24 week midwife appointment on Thursday?

Thanks.

Not much Smile

I got to hear the heartbeat, got bump measured and bp taken. That was about it. Oh, and I peed all over my hands in a pot. And got a surprise flu jab as the nurses were free.

Lots of paperwork. I was given my MatB1 form which I promptly forgot to get stamped despite holding it in my hand whilst booking my next appt.

28 week appt tomorrow, think that's a big more exciting as I get my whooping cough jab and more bloods taken. and hopefully a repeat prescription for Canasten

Ok,

Thanks for your information.

Worried they will measure me and say I am too small (2 previous miscarriages).

Heartbeat and BP and a bit of a chitchat that was all. Didn't have any bloods done, having that at my 28w one tomorrow.

Oh and she had a poke about and measured me with a tape measure.

All pretty laid back really :)

Mine's on Friday! I've got a few things I want to ask about healthwise (heartburn and stress).
We get given a pot each time for the next one so we can wee first thing in the morning rather than trying to pee underpressure.

I had the pot in advance. Forgot to pee in it, then had to do it at the health centre. Disaster - I had no wide-necked jam jar for decanting purposes Grin

Note to self: put pot in obvious place for tomorrow.
