popping :/

Just heard and felt a weird popping from downstairs now have back ache but no gushing waters , im 39 weeks and 1 not sure if start of anything , any idea's! Plus been awake all night due to very active baby he's now not moving so much a tad worried.

No ideas but call midwife if not sure!

Agree - call the midwife! I wouldn't worry about the baby not moving very much now - he's probably tired if he's been very active all night. It could be the start of labour but equally might not. Wear a pad if you think your waters might have broken/might be about to break - then a midwife can check it if you're concerned. Good luck!

I heard/ felt a popping when my waters broke, although mine was accompanied by a trickle, followed by lots of bigger trickles of my waters.

Have you tried lying on your side for 30 mins then standing up?

My contractions started about 45 mins- an hour after the pop.

I'd give maternity triage (or labour ward if that's how your hospital works)- they may ask you to come in.

Seen my midwife she seems content that nothing is wrong told me take it easy and it was my pelvis aligning or something but to be fair i think hes gonna be late will keep an eye on anymore popping xx thanks ladys xx
