15 week pregnant with twins and morning sickness returned with vengeance

Hi there, I have been nauseous on and off this pregnancy, with good days and bad days, and occasionally being sick. Since Wednesday I have been feeling much better and thought I'd left it all behind, but I started being sick at 4 am last night (Sunday) and haven't been able to keep anything down since then (not even sucked ice cubes) and have been sick around every hour... Is this normal with twins? Does anyone have any advice? How long should I let this go on for before contacting the midwife?

I'm sorry your morning sickness has come back... it was horrible and I'm so glad mine didn't make a reappearance. I'm afraid I have no advice but would suggest contacting your midwife/GP/OOH if you aren't keeping fluids down.

I would suggest calling your GP/midwife too if you can't keep anything down - it may be a bug rather than the return of MS.

I'm pregnant with twins too (11 weeks) and feeling so terrible. It's like there's a washing machine in my tummy Sad

Hope you feel better soon, it's an awful feeling Thanks

Thanks katiegee, if I don't feel better tomorrow, I'll do just that.

Thank you too Eaghoul, I was thinking it might be a bug, but have no other symptoms (not fluey or anything). I've cancelled my work plans for tomorrow (shame, I was looking forward to an event) and will see how I get on..

Carrying twins is hard work! I hope the second trimester starts for me soon! Are you managing to keep active at all?

It sure is marlus! I feel so much worse than I did in my first pregnancy.

The only reason that I'm keeping active is because I have a 13 month old at home! I spend as much time as I can resting but it's hard.

Get well soon Smile
