hi everyone
could I get your honest feedback?
we have chosen a first and middle name for our baby and really love them both.
however just realised that the initials will be NCP. We've been warned to be careful about the initials... do you reckon NCP is silly or could lead to bullying or anything later in life?
we can't switch the names around unfortunately.
TIA

Wouldn't occur to me that it would be an issue.

SomethingAboutNothing · 26/10/2014 11:55

I can't see anything wrong with those initials, certainly nothing worthy if playground teasing.

HazzaB89 · 26/10/2014 11:58

Is it just because of the relation to car parks? Honestly can not see that it would lead to bullying.

DealForTheKids · 26/10/2014 11:58

Took me a while... Is it the car park connection?

Really don't think it'll be a problem :-)

RiverRocks · 26/10/2014 12:28

I can only think of the car park, and I can't see why it would lead to bullying-I can't see any kids making the connection.

starfish99 · 26/10/2014 12:39

thanks - yes only the car park connection. am probably way over thinking it...!

My little boys initials are JCB my hubby's friends call him little digger

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 26/10/2014 12:49

Totally not an issue. I'm sure you could find a three letter acronym for most peoples initials! Unless it's something like STD I wouldn't even think about it.

WhyOWhyWouldYou · 26/10/2014 13:20

As got to be in it to win it says, as long as you don't end up with STD or something like that, then initials are normally fine.

Plus I really don't think a child would get the car park thing.

What you do want to watch for is nicknames that are usually made from the child's name that may then clash with surname. For example I knew a Benjamin Dover - didn't take long for teen kids to catch onto bendover.
