I have thick dark hair and pale skin. I'm suffering from hyperemesis and I have lost almost 2 stone in 5 weeks since my sickness started.
I'm not sure if it's pregnancy hormones or some sort of body survival mechanism but I'm growing so much body hair! Like, everywhere! My arms and stomach are the worst hit places, it's so thick and dark and so much of it.
Is it safe to wax it off? I don't feel like doing it at the moment but when I start to feel better I know I'll want to get rid.

Thank you

I believe with anorexia (I am not saying you have this!) you can get a downy hair all over as part of a survival mechanism

I am 37 weeks and have suffered with HG pretty much all the way through this pregnancy.

In the worst, early days I too went really hairy (still am) and found that my hair would grow really quickly. Within a matter of days after shaving my legs for example they would look like I'd grown a forest!!

The hair growth has slowed down now but my belly still looks like a meadow and the extra hair on my chin Blush keeps growing back.

Sounds just like my pregnancies, I went back to normal after they were born.

I'm pale and dark haired, tend to be a bit hairy anyway but it was quite bad up until I was about 20 weeks. I could have shaved my legs twice a day and they'd still be stubbly.
I don't seem to be just as hairy now.

It is safe to wax during pg, I actually got my legs waxed and they seem to have stopped growing! 8 weeks and barely any regrowth at all!
