I found this interesting link:
www.msichicago.org/whats-here/exhibits/you/the-exhibit/your-beginning/make-room-for-baby/interactive/

It shows the movement of other organs whilst your uterus is expanding, throughout pregnancy. I was wondering about my bladder and my stomach, and it certainly shows why I am going to the look more often and why I feel a bit acidy if I eat a big meal.

Just thought others might find it interesting too Smile

Wow - obviously they have to move but never really thought about it beyond the 'baby on bladder' situation - mental! Poor, poor intestines! Thanks for sharing.

weeblueberry · 02/11/2014 16:58

That is really interesting. I said to DP the other day 'if the baby is all the way down there, why is my stomach so big up here?' His answer was movement but I assumed he was talking out his rear lol.

Psmith83 · 02/11/2014 18:15

Thanks so much- I HAVE been wondering, actually!

catsofa · 03/11/2014 01:33

:) thanks, that's great. Helped me make sense of my shape a bit better!

Tryingreallyhard84 · 03/11/2014 14:28

That was a little disconcerting...if not utterly amazing to watch!

catsofa · 03/11/2014 15:27

Can't believe how much everything is going to get squished, third trimester must be so uncomfortable!

cheshirem2b · 03/11/2014 15:36

Wow! That explains why I feel like everything is squashed... because it is!

Olive1987 · 03/11/2014 16:23

Gutted this isn't loading on my phone! After reading the comments I REALLY want to see it now!

d0ttyne11 · 03/11/2014 21:44

Oh my goodness, that's a lot of adjusting!!

Gunpowder · 03/11/2014 22:39

Wowzers. Very cool.

cheshirem2b · 04/11/2014 10:04

I showed this to my DH last night - he just looked at the picture, looked at me and said "wow"! I think that pretty much sums it up!

ChickenMe · 04/11/2014 10:37

Interesting link! Pretty much explains the permanent need to do a piddle!!

DontBeBlueBeARainbow · 05/11/2014 01:14

What you said about the intestines, they seem to be the least important and just have to shift! Shock
