Pregnancy Test After Possable Miscarrage...? (TMI)

Just looking for some information and advice, On the 17th Friday i started to bleed i went to the hospital of which they took bloods, gave me a internal and did a scan i was roughly 6 weeks i have continued to bleed up until yestoday with now only having brownish discharge, on the monday i passed what i thought was the baby ( small clot with jelly like substance) i have a scan on the 27th to clear things up but i did a test this morning and is coming up darker then the test i did a fortnight before when i found out i was pregnant. i didnt know how long it would take for me to get a negative if i had lost the baby btw not felt ill, pain nothing just a few odd clots with the bleeding... ? x

I had a mmc in feb this year and had a d and c which got all the product out straight away. However, 2 weeks later i did a pregnancy test and it came back positive. Clear as day. There was no way i was pregnant, hadnt had sex since the d and c. Spoke to the dr, he told me it can take a few weeks for your hcg levels to drop, depending on how far along u are. My babies heart stopped at 9 weeks so i wasnt that far. I hope this helps. I know you will be holding out hope that you may not have miscarried, i have my fingers crossed for you. But that was the case for me.

Hi, I had a miscarriage in September and after passing the sac it took just under 3 weeks to get a negative test. I was advised to check after 2, then regularly check and if nothing by 4 weeks to go back to EPU for another scan to check for retained products. I really hope you've not lost your baby but if you have, please don't lose hope. 8 weeks on from my MC I am 6 weeks pregnant again Smile so it can happen xx
