Hi I'm 9 weeks pg, and up to now have had quite bad nausea and tiredness. Monday was awful - I felt horrendous and very nearly called in sick to work - then yesterday I feel totally normal again. I know that's what everyone wants, but it's scaring me a little.

I think I'm probably being paranoid due to a mc last year, but can someone reassure me that this is normal??? I do have a DD, but I can't remember what being pregnant was like really!

Yes I'm the same Smile I'm 12 weeks and have been feeling very nauseous and extremely tired up until yesterday. I just woke up and felt fine most of the day. For the past 6 weeks I've been getting acid reflux, heartburn the lot. But yesterday and today, nope...nothing. I'm hoping it lasts Grin everyone's different so you may have been lucky to feel better earlier on. My sister went through her entire pregnancy with not one symptom, lucky bugger! Grin

The first trimester for me was horrible for stress. I spent every day angsting about which symptom had disappeared / seemed less than before. It was really stressful. Statistics are on your side and there is nothing you can do either way. I found that comforting in a strange way - out of your hands.

I felt loads better after 9 / 10 weeks for a couple of days then got some nausea back and tiredness back. I think it goes up and down at your stage owing to 'surges' of hormones. Try not to worry! I'm now 19wks btw

Thanks guys it helps to know I'm not the only one! I did feel a bit sick and tired again today, so feeling happier haha. It's not pleasant, but at least it's reassuring!

I'm currently 32 weeks pregnant, my symptoms went at about 9 weeks. When I had my dating scan I was actually 10 days further on than I thought so I think it's totally normal. I think the placenta can start to take over around 9 weeks which can be why the worse symptoms start to subside.
