I have a list of irritating ailments as long as my arm! Just the usual delights (thrush, exhaustion, nausea, upset tummy etc etc). I seem to have some sort of discomfort every day and then it goes to be replaced by something new the following day. Is this normal for this stage of pregnancy or am I just lucky? Ha!

Sorry for the huge moan. At least it's nothing serious, just extremely annoying! Angry

I'm 32 weeks and feeling much like you. Sore back (on and off), sore hips (at night), tired due to bad / restless sleep, sometimes bothered by heartburn, often (still) nauseous (had HG early on, which seemed to go by around 26 weeks but in the last couple of weeks is creeping back). I'm just generally fed up now.

This is DC3 for me. I think I felt fairly similar with DC1, as recall bringing the start of my mat leave forward to just under 35 weeks from my planned 38 week finish. With DC2 I definitely felt a lot better than this - I was still quite active, not sick or achey, went on a (gentle) walking holiday at 34-35 weeks. Wish I knew what made the difference!

Thanks Sunny. I felt amazing a few weeks ago! I don't know what happened. Pesky hormones grr. If you ever find out what made the difference with DC2 do let me know in case I ever have another one! Smile

33+1 here and, apart from a touch of SPD and beginning to feel quite tired by the end of a day at work, I'm still feeling pretty much ok. I can feel myself slowing down a bit although I have good days and bad days.

I've had a pretty smooth ride all the way through though, so that could be why. I feel very lucky, especially as I'm pretty ancient.

Good luck, and not long to go now!

I'm 33 + 5.

I'm not doing too bad. I'm heavy and tired, my feet hurt from the moment I wake up. Sleep is hit or miss - sometimes I sleep like a log other times I toss and turn all night and my hips/back really hurts.

Thankfully heartburn has been minimal - just some occassional reflux at night.

I'm starting to struggle with work now - I can phyiscally do it but mentally I've left the building - thankfully only 2 full weeks left but I don't expect to achieve much other than complete my hand over.

I also dislike that I'm physically unable to do much - gentle walks are fine but any bending/lifting no matter how light hurts and leaves me aching.

Oh and I spend most of the day dealing with a baby who still seems to enojoy rolling from one side of my uterus to the other - it feels like someone is churning up my insides.

I just need to hold on for a few more weeks so we can move house and then I can relax!!!

aww...i guess from the above responses we are all pretty much in the same boat :-(
i am 32+6 and having back ache, increased gross discharge, uncomfortable pelvis, movements which feel like jabs esp. when trying to sleep at night, pelvic pain, fatigue like never before...often just brushing my hair in the morning feels like a huge chore! i just want to lie down and do nothing...but nooo, the bladder thibks otherwise! grrrrrrr....
hopefully this too shall pass...soon.

34+5 here. Pretty miserable, TBH. Very very tired, heartburn, no sleep, serious SPD.

Baby is still having a disco in my uterus. My tummy is never round, it's always completely lopsided as s/he moves from one side to the other, which is pretty painful.

This is our second so DH isn't hugely sympathetic.

Thanks all!

Well, at least it sounds like it is relatively normal and not me falling apart. Phew! I can't wait to finish work in a couple of weeks and am complete awe of women who manage to work right up to their due dates!

33 weeks exact here.
Not so bad, bumps starting to ache though and ive now lost sight of my feet. Sleep wise im only waking once a night to wee and still pretty much sleeping on my front (with a long pillow tucked under if you get me).
Little bit of acid reflux but im dog tired, slow and all the horrid things from first tri are creeping back in... the greasy hair, the spots, the gipping and the super smell!
I realise im pretty lucky though when I read about everyone else struggling, so im sending lots of relaxing vibes youre ways and hoping its as hard as its going to get now for you.

Not long ladies!
7 weeks!
