Tens for C Section?

I've got a tens machine that I used in the early stages of labour with dd, ds will be born by c section and I'm wondering what to do with my tens. Had anyone used one for recovery from C Section and was it any good?

Not a medic and not convinced it would be beneficial - think how many nerves will have been sliced through! If you are thinking help with pain, post c-section I didn't have pain (will confess to being a wimp usually) just numbness & weird feeling of guts moving when rolled over etc.

The instructions do say it's suitable for post c section but I was just wondering if anyone had tried it and if it helps?

I wouldn't think so. As it is major abdominal surgery, I'd just take the nice pills they give you and worry not!! Attaching a thing to your back is not going to take your mind off the fact that they've cut through your stomach wall... (ps I've had a section, it was fine!)

Hmmmm, you make a lot of sense. I was just looking for non drug related pain relief as I don't have good reactions to cocodamol or even paracetamol Blush
