Hi currently 21+5 not really got a big bump but lately it really aches a lot when standing walking bending down or cleaning etc the only time it doesn't is when I'm lying down or in the bath.
It's not a pain more like a dull ache and baby is very active so I'm not concerned there's anything wrong but I don't remember this from previous pregnancy's. It's making me feel sick when it aches.

hello. im 32+6 and pretty much yesss it hurts! even the movement does. i guess it could be because of the body stature but everytime i mention it to the dr. she just says its normal. there's often this dull pain which makes me feel sick in the evenings and in a bad mood. the baby is gaining weight and getting heavier to carry she said. but again do mention it to your gp/dr./midwife. everyone is different and pain and aches mean different things to everyone it seems. best of luck...and hang in there!

Yes it is stretching pains because your muscles are stretching and sometimes the baby's position is weird!

Supportive bump underwear are really helpful... I wear one when I know I'm going to be very active, but try not to wear it all the time as I want my muscles to adjust...otherwise the dull ache turns into a burning type pain!

Also helps to lie down on your side to give muscles s break... Or to have a bit of a rest... Listen to your body Smile

Thanks it was my day off today and I've spent the majority of it lying on the sofa watching catch up TV. Unfortunately at work I spent most of my day on my feet which has been a bit of a killer of late.

Oh yes! And that is just my term for it too. I've had it a certain points (not throughout) both pregnancies, probably when my bump has been growing and all the muscles are realigning themselves and normally at the end of busy days... which they all are!

Yes, I had it all last week! I ran the midwive led unit and they recommended keeping an eye on movements and to call back if I noticed anything. They also recommended taking paracetamol to take the edge off. I'm not suffering too much this week but I also wonder if it could be linked to a doggy digestive system. I'm 27 weeks

Just to add a new prospective, I had this starting with baby number 3, turned out to be a hernia. Pain was quite horrific though, not the same as stretching pain, more of an acute stabbing type pain. You can definitely recognise the difference.

Doctor said it's okay unless you get sick with the pain then it's straight to A&E.

I get this when I walk, on my right. Apparently it's round ligament pain (according to Dr Google).
