Comfortable feeding chair for taller parents-to-be!

Dear All,

I am seeking options for the above for me (5ft 11) and DP (6ft 3). I would love a comfortable chair with a high back, either rocking or stationary, but preferably one that I can rest my head on - the ones we have spied seem much more geared towards those of a shorter build!

Likewise changing tables and units - are these always of a pretty standard height or are there any with an extra couple of inches on the market?!

Many thanks,

S

I'm 6ft and just bought an Ikea Poang rocking chair www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/S69860969/#/S29889682
I haven't used it for breastfeeding yet but at 32 weeks it's pretty comfy! I'll be interested to see what others say, especially about changing tables :)

Not sure about feeding chairs but I've never come across a changing table at a suitable height for me (5'10.5") - all the ones I looked at were at a height to hurt my back. At home I always got on the floor, out and about - I used to dread it.

Sorry for the delayed response! I will investigate the Ikea chair but I am wondering if I might find the wooden arms a little uncomfortable for resting my arms on! Will post again if I find any other suitable chairs or changing tables Smile. Thank you!

I don't know what your budget is but the Stokke 'Care' changing table is much higher than anything else. V pricey but cheaper on eBay
