Ok TMI...

Anyone else having the runs every morning?! I'm 7 weeks and feel really sick and nauseous, but instead of being sick it's my bum that's causing problems!

I had this and it lasted my whole pregnancy - I was never sick. Make sure to eat lots of stodge and carry snacks and water with you as you will get weak very quickly. Good luck and congratulations.

Yep - I have had this with every pregnancy. It's a symptom of higher progesterone I think. Make sure you drink enough water!

This was my first sign I was pg - 10 and 11dpo - but I regulated very soon. In fact now I have a fairly serious fybogel requirement!

Me too, I'm expecting number 3. I didn't have this with my first two but this time I had terrible runs and wind, it was pretty miserable. Felt nauseous but no vomiting just what I would describe as irritable bowel like symptoms. It went at about 16 weeks.

Thanks ladies. Glad it's not just me. I think I am getting dehydrated, must try to drink more water but it makes me feel even more nauseous when I do. All I want is toast, yoghurt and Cheerios.

I'm about 5 weeks and I'm getting this. Not every day, some days i'm constipated but others have the runs!

I seem to remember 'interesting' bowels continued throughout my last pregnancy, although as it progressed the constipation was the most common symptom! (which is worse in my opinion...)

PatMullins · 21/10/2014 14:52

Oh yes, you're not alone!
I'm 19+3 and it's pretty much stopped now so hopefully it will get better for you Smile

I did at the beginning. Then realised is was the Pregnacare that was giving me the runs. The day after I stopped taking them I was fine.

JennyAnn1982 · 21/10/2014 22:38

Yep, that was my version of morning sickness too. I used to get it with period too, so must just be my body's way of dealing with hormones!

It passed off around 14/15 weeks, along with my first trimester migraines.

If you're taking a prenatal vitamin check it doesn't have a stool softener in it, this will make things loads worse. I take the sanatogen mum to be vits and they've been fine whereas I've heard pregnacare can make things worse.

Stay hydrated, this will help you feel human.

Take care,

Jen
