Hi all, wanted your opinion as I don't have a midwife appointment until later in the week....

I put on a lot of weight at the start of this pregnancy, at least a stone and a half before I was 20 weeks. I've been trying not to overeat, but I've still been eating well, but since then I've gained no more weight. I'm now 28 weeks and still the same weight as 9 weeks ago. Do you think I should be worried? Obviously that weight gain for 28 weeks seems OK, but I'm just a bit worried there has been no change for so long.

I'm no expert but I would say try not to worry. I think our bodies do a better job than we think of evening things out. I have been worried that I haven't put on enough (see my pic on the 'guess the bump' thread, people seem to think I'm 10 weeks behind where I actually am!) despite not suffering hugely with sickness at the start, but the professionals don't seem worried. All they mind about is the size of uterus and baby, rather than you (within reason).

Thanks, I'll try not to worry. Pretty sure the bump itself has grown in the last few weeks. I'll check in with the midwife next time I go.
