Weird question, potentially TMI but I can't find anything on Google so hoping someone will know from experience.
I'm 39 weeks today and have had several days of strong braxton hicks, and sharp pains in cervix.
This morning I woke up and when I went to the loo there was a wet patch in my knickers. I'm pretty used to having discharge which is always creamy and dries white in knickers. This was definitely watery though... I'm currently waiting for it to dry. Would amniotic fluid dry to a whitish colour too? Or clear like urine would?
It's definitely not urine... I felt it leak out when I stood up from bed and it wasn't coming from my bladder! And unless my discharge has suddenly become very watery then Im thinking this has to be fluid....... Right??!
