Have you got suppositories? Much better than cream

UpUpAndAway123 · 18/10/2014 18:41

Squeeze the cream up your bum Blush

I used anusol and it did work although it took a week

I hate them and I always get them

I've had piles since before pregnancy, but they have got worse since about half way through. TMI warning - they're internal, but they pop out whenever I poo. I use Anusol, make sure I get plenty of fibre, and when it is uncomfortable to sit, I try lying down - eases the pressure. Also good to put feet close up by bottom, engage core and bottom, and raise bottom off floor, resting on feet and shoulders. God knows what my poor bottom will look like when I've actually given birth. Hoping to 'breathe baby out' a la natal hypnotherapy - hope I'm not kidding myself.

I blamed my episiotomy for continuing pain weeks after birth, helpful gp at 6 week check pxed me some steroidal suppositories and pretty much fixed me! Hadn't crossed my mind that it might have been anything else and thought I had got through pregnancy without them. Reckon it was labour that did it. Now on pregnancy number 2 and have had to use suppositories on and off to keep them under control though more irritating than the out and out painful they were post labour.
