Bubble pool ok when pregnant?

Off to the leisure centre with the DC's this morning and they have a seperate bubble pool (not a jacuzzi, same temperature, just bubbles) but I'm expecting DC3 and was wondering whether the bubbles would hurt the pregnancy? Sorry, I know it's a silly question but I didn't swim at all in prior pregnancies. Thanks in advance :)

I think you may want to post this in Pregnancy?

But in reply I would say it's fine. Particularly as you say it is the same temperature.

I would say it isn't ok, the heat is the thing - you're supposed to be careful with bath temperatures so anything over that would be bad?

CelibacyCakeAndElevatorMuzac · 18/10/2014 09:46

jacuzzi's are quite warm aren't they?

MrsKrios · 18/10/2014 10:10

Not a jacuzzi, just bubbles. It's the same temp as the pool.

They have a section at the pool I take DD to for her swimming lessons that is a 'bubble pool'. I have been going into it after her lessons every week whilst pregnant (37 weeks now). It's part of the main pool, same temperature, sometimes too cold if anything! Don't see why not.
