Im 28 weeks +5 days. I dont think i have felt any movements today. I had a midwife check on Tuesday and hear his heart beat.
I have got a bit of a gassy windy tummy today, so i guess he could have moved but i confused it with that. What should I do?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Call your midwife team now. Don't muck about with reduced movements. Hope all is well Smile

hollie84 · 17/10/2014 22:47

Always get a change in movements checked out. However at 28 weeks it could well be just that the baby has changed position.

JabberJabberJay · 17/10/2014 22:48

Call your midwife or delivery suite now. They will probably want you to go in to check all is well.

AnythingNotEverything · 17/10/2014 22:54

Call your hospital midwifery team. They will want to see you. You won't be wasting their time.

stupidlittlegirl · 17/10/2014 23:06

I called them. They have advise me to have a bath and a nice cold drink. Focus on feeling for kicks for half an hour. If nothing go in.

As i said i have had a bit of a sore windy stomach- just before i got in the bath i went to the toilet and it was quite loose. When i wiped there was some stringy discharge, not a huge amount.

go to a&e now

stupidlittlegirl · 17/10/2014 23:46

Ive had a bath and an ice cold drink. Possibly felt some movement, but cant be 100% sure its not my dodgy tummy.
Ill give them a call back.

Yes please get down to triage. I promise they will want you in especially as cold drink trick hasn't worked. If you can, eat/drink something very sugary on the way (coke & choc). All the best.

So, so happy for you :) Really wishing you the best for the rest your pregnancy and thank you for letting us you and the baby are OK x

mammycampbell · 19/10/2014 22:14

ach i am a sucker for a happy ending. that's great news :) it seems a huge responsibility sometimes, being the only one who can speak up for your baby and trying to be vigilant if movement slows/stops. hope he's been kicking away ever since X
