Did anyone have an implantation bleed?

Before they found out they were pregnant?? Or is it just an urban myth?!

And if you had one, what was it like? Brown blood or red? How much? Did you have any cramps?

I know this sounds a bit off but basically I am currently on cycle day 21 (so a week until my period is due and I am usually regular with 27-28 day cycles) and have had some cramps this evening and there was some bright red blood when I went to the loo...

TTC #2 so hoping it might be an implantation bleed rather than AF showing up a week early...?!

I had an implantation bleed 11 days after I ovulated. I thought it was my period come a bit early - I got some reddy/brown blood just like the start of a period. I put my mooncup in (I might add that this was my wedding night and I was gutted and annoyed that my period had come early). Come the morning I took the cup out and there was nothing else in it - just normal whitish mucus. We them went on honeymoon and I got a positive pregnancy test a week later on the last day of our honeymoon.

There was nothing 'weird' about the bleed at all. It was EXACTLY like my period starting right down to achey pain etc.

Last pregnancy - I thought it was the start of my period (light flow/mini tampon/reddish brown colour. Lasted maybe 12-24 hours.

Is pregnancy - much heavier - think i used regular/maxi tampons thinking, again, it was the start of my period. That was more reddish.

Both times it was about when my period was due anyway, but I wasn't sure as (first time) I was just off the pill and (second time) it was while breast feeding.

3rd pregnancy I had it, never had it before so I thought it was just a light early period. About 4-5 days before my period was due I think, red and very light. Lasted about a day red and then brownish staining next day. Have had implantation cramps with all of mine.

I had browny pink spotting on about 10dpo, it was on and off for about 2 days and then totally disappeared. I tested a few days later on a FRER and got a very strong BFP. The month that before I had browny spotting on 10dpo that turned in to AF after a few days so I would never be totally convinced either way. Only doing a test will tell! Good luck :)

I had one single tiny spot of blood about the size of the 'O' on my computer keyboard. Remember just barely seeing it and being like 'that's a bit odd' but that was it. Only realised implantation bleeding was a thing later.

Burmama, I was trying to work out how on earth you got the blood on your computer keyboard for a moment then. Worked it out now.

I had an early bleed that I thought was my period but must have been an implantation bleed.

I had a slight brownish/red bleed on the Saturday before my period was due (on the Thursday). I only noticed when I wiped myself after having a pee and thought it was my period arriving early but had no more bleeding after that. did a test on the Wed and it was positive xx good luck

I did with my DTDs - had a few days of brownish blood, thought it was a light period & didn't end up realising I was pregnant until around 8 weeks!

I had implantation bleed it lasted a day on and off and was only when I wiped. It was light pink and had CM I thought it was just AF coming slowly but it disappeared after a few hours x

My SIL is in hospital with bad bleeding and the doctor told her it is normal to have a blred every 4 weeks from 4 weeks pregnant, around the time your period would be due. This so far has been true for me as I had spotting for 5 days last week as I was entering my 8th week of pregnancy!

I had it around 13-14 dpo after testing positive. Just a really small amount of brown blood.

I had one the day my period was due. It was pink in colour and only lasted a few hours.

Yes, red blood on about 7-10dpo. I presumed it was my period arriving early. It went brown then stopped, I gave it a few days then got a positive on 15dpo. Now 37 weeks pregnant with DC1 expected any day yet .

I also had bleeding at about 5-6 weeks pregnant and 11 weeks which I was told was just my body getting used to the hormones.
