Normal? I believe it's obligatory!

Sorry for being so flippant op, I'm a few years past this now but I remember prunes and prune juice were a staple part of my diet towards the end of both my pregnancies, even then I wasn't pooing daily.
I did return back to my normal regular self quite quickly though, probably because I wasn't swigging down bottles of Gaviscon.

Yes! Especially if on iron tablets too apparently. I'm 38 weeks too and had trouble for the last few days but thought i'd stupidly wait til friday to get to the chemist... I'm now sitting on a pillow with piles that bring tears to my eyes feeling very sorry for myself. Please dont leave it like me, chemist gave me some powders today which are safe in pregnancy, praying they work before this baby comes!

Lactulose can help (on prescription or from chemist), esp if you're constipated now.. it 'softens' so the post delivery poo is easier too. Am 36 wks and just collected mine! This is dc3 for me and it helped both times for me.

Mmmm yes, and quite often the runs signify the start of labour...
