Round ligament pain?

Hiya,

First time pregnant, not sure how far along I am (genuinely could be anywhere between 5 and 14 weeks, by my estimation - very irregular periods and the last one I think was actually implantation) but am getting stomach twinges. Doesn't feel like anything to be concerned about and there's no bleeding/spotting so wondered if it could be round ligament pain? Feels short and sharp but not too painful and moved about a bit - anyone got any experience of rlp want to tell me if that's what it is?

Booking appt tomorrow and hopefully a scan date soon after so we can find out how old this sucker is and I can stop looking for clues! Doing my head in.

Yep, it could well. Everywhere I searched says it can happen from 2nd trimester, but I had it from week 8 or something.

I am finding massaging arnica oil on my tummy helps with the twinges.

Cheers. Cannot wait until I know how pregnant I actually am so I can stop all this guess work.

Could be! I had it last week at 19w, was so so painful. Only thing that helped me was a heat pad and bed rest. Luckily it only lasted a few days

Could be :)

I had mine from about 10 weeks and they were agony. I honestly thought I was miscarrying or something awful like that. Mine lasted all night and literally felt like I was being stabbed in the groin.

My midwife said it was just because I was very toned before pregnancy (I was an active horse rider). But I definitely had them before the books say you should.

Hope yours don't get any worse :) xx

TBH mine - if that's what they are - really aren't bad - perhaps because my tummy is NOT very toned!
