Hi!
I'm now 4 days over due with my first baby. I have had a few 'niggles' but nothing significant. But i went to the loo this morning and a hell of a lot of yellowy/clear jelly-like discharge appeared. Could this be a 'show' or does the show always have blood in it?. There was definitaly no blood in what i saw though.

Any ideas?
Many thanks in advance!

Hee hee don't think you'll get a single room for having a cold! good luck with the sweep, might work you never know.

its a fact... you need sperm...it is a similar hormone to the one they give you when you're being induced
it worked for me twice!

hello!

Well .... he's here!!!!

11 days late, he arrived a 11:15pm on Saturday 7th October (2 days after his daddy's birthday), weighing 7lb 15oz.

Not sure what brought the labour on in the end - probably a combination of the 3rd membrane sweep, a very hot curry and lots of pineapple!

Contractions started at 5am Saturday morning (not very strong tho). Eventually had my waters artificaially broken at about 5pm then everything happened between then and 11:15 really. I had him at home and only needed the TENS until i was about to push - it started annoying me at that point so was taken off. I used gas and air for the last 1hr 15mins of contractions and that was all the pain relief i had!.. really surprised myself! Took 1hr 15mins to push him out as he was facing the isde of my leg which made passing through my pelvis more difficult.

oh and god i never knew i could vomit so much in such a small space of time... just before i was about to push... nice eh?!

He was worth all the pain though!!
