Hi all,

I have recently found out that I am pregnant (first time ever and approx 4-5 weeks). I have been dealing with a lot of nausea and dizziness and have had some slight period type cramping in my lower back over the past few days. The nausea I expected but is the back pain normal?
We haven't told anyone apart from our parents in real life and I don't want to worry them at all. I refuse to google in case I worry myself but I know I'll get good advice from the wise MN clan!
Thanks in advance :)

Sounds normal to me. Just before I found out I was pregnant I was convinced my period was about to start because of the cramps!

I'm 9 weeks and still getting back pain/cramps, so I think it is normal. Any excessive cramps though, get in touch with a medical professional!

I think almost any combination of symptoms (including none at all) is normal in pregnancy.
