Got bfp last weekend! Very happy.

But...not quite sure what I am meant to do now re the medical side of things. Help!

Take pregnancy multivits inc folic acid & call your doc to find out if they refer you to midwife or self refer. Eat healthily & take it easy. Congrats! x

Ring your surgery to ask who to book in with.

Take folic acid supplements to try and prevent spina bifida.

Decide with your partner who you want to tell and when.

I booked a doctors appointment today but my surgery have that rare thing - non nosey receptionists, and she'd booked the appointment before I had chance to mention I was newly pregnant! Will have to call back tomorrow to double check.

DH and I have already agreed that we're not telling anybody before the 12 week scan.

Though my aversion to certain smells may give the game away. Walking to work today with a friend, past a Brains Brewery the smell of the hops almost saw me throw up in the street
