Early Morning Sickness?

I have been feeling nauseous for around 4 days now and yesterday I was vomiting. I'm not ill so thought maybe pregnant as I had hyperemesis in my first pregnancy. I did a test 2 days ago and came back negative.

Can you have early morning sickness and still test negative?

When is your period due? I am currently 8 weeks (I think). I started feeling nauseous 5 days before my period was due, I took a test, it was negative. My period start date came and went and I took another which was positive. I think test accuracy is higher if you test on or after the first day of your period. X
