23w - for the last few weeks I've been shedding hair - I thought it was meant to stay lush and thick until post delivery!?

I found the same around that time in my pregnancy. Brushing my hair seem to shed as much hair as normal, if not more. But I'm 38 weeks now and there's no shedding and is really really thick. Think it just took a while for that symptom to kick in for me.

I'm the same - 24 weeks and hairbrush is needing much more cleaning out that usual. I was disappointed there is no luscious growth of hair!

Oh and the other thing I'm noticing now is that I can go a good 5 days before needing to wash my hair. It just doesn't get greasy!! I wash it every 2-3 days anyway (feels weird not too) but the non greasiness only kicked in about 10 weeks ago. My hair probably is the longest, thickest and best condition it's ever been right now at 38 weeks.

Shame I can't be bothered to blow dry it or leave the house to show it off!!!

I wonder if it makes any difference which sex you're having. I'm having a girl.

Yes it's definitely not greasy either. I'm only washing it because it's gone kinky or frizzy. At the start it was incredibly greasy.
I'm also having a girl. So could be that. Maybe it got super thick in first trimester and is now settling.

As long as it's not a "sign" that's ok :)
