Anybody else have this so early? When I go from sit to standing its really uncomfortable and affecting the way I walk. I know his head is down now but surely not 8 weeks of this! Plus its causing some very mild incontinence....normal?

About 30-31 weeks here and feeling pretty similar.
MW has cultured for uti (but no symptoms)
I have had a couple of early scares, but now feel as though something is there, however I am assured cervix is closed.
Like you, am hoping this doesn't continue for best 2 months xx

Sounds like baby may now have engaged into the pelvis. My DS did this at 33 weeks and this one did at 34, sharp pains and incontinence for the past 4 weeks - sorry!!

Me too & also 32 weeks. Baby wasn't engaged at all 2 days ago but she's certainly putting a lot of pressure on down below & I've also been having a lot of sharp twinges today too. Been (tmi) leaking a fair bit for the last couple of weeks too! Blush

Having read up it all sounds pretty normal & what is to be expected as baby's head starts to engage.

So different from last time - ds was breech & never had so much as a twinge!

Sounds normal! Had it with both pregnancies.
DS was head down pretty much from the beginning, and around 30-34 weeks I noticed more pressure and pain down there. Sometimes it felt if any min he is going to fall out Grin

Currently 38 weeks and between 30-35 weeks the baby engaged and I couldn't walk because of the pain. When the baby moves now it feels like any sec my water will break because it is so low..

A student midwife checked by hand ontop on my body and said his head was 'free'?

I'm the same but baby is breech hoping if he turns round may stop as I am not looking forward to another ten weeks of it

Anybody else have this so early? When I go from sit to standing its really uncomfortable like a pressure more in my pelvis or lower uterus than vagina and affecting the way I walk as it's the same feeling and also have lower backache I know everytime I have a scan she is head down last scan was on the 1st and I'm 32 weeks today ...normal?

I had this at about that gestation, I thought that the baby must have engaged and it was going to be like that now until delivery. However I was wrong, she hadn’t engaged and now at 35+6 the pressure is just on and off but mostly relieved. So it may be a passing thing!
