Going Mad!

Please be kind, it's my first post!

Ok, I think I'm going mad! I think it's unlikely but I'm wondering if I could actually be pregnant or whether it's just wishful thinking! I have had monthly bleeding but periods have been lighter when they are normally very heavy. I've had lots of symptoms- massive mood swings (never get them), bloating, pain in ribs, heavy feeling low in tummy. The more I write the more ridiculous I realise this is. So I suppose I'm wondering if anyone else has done the same (ie; driven themselves mad wondering), and what the outcome was? I bought a test but was too afraid to take it! I suppose I'm also wondering if it's possible to be pg but not realise it? I've read lots of things about ladies not finding out for months.

I realise this sounds ridiculous...

i feel like im going mad atm too! haha. im the same having symptoms no period but negative tests! take the test! could of been a light bleed caused by implantation not your period :) xx

Take the test. I thought I'd had a period but as it was light and I had other symptoms I took a test. Turned out I was 7 weeks pregnant. Currently 36 weeks.

Thanks, I'd be a bit disappointed not to be, but probably not the best time in my life. No way to know really without taking the dreaded test!

I had a full on heavy period, was in hospital for pain and spotting after that who did a pregnancy test and told me it was positive, 11 weeks now, def take the test at least then you will know

Thanks. My stomach is bloated a lot, even when I've not really eaten! The problem is you read into things sometimes.

Keelyboo, did you have other symptoms as well?
