Hi all!

I'm 6w3d pregnant and I am just feeling horrible! I am even annoying myself with my constant lethargic lying around, moaning and groaning. My poor husband thinks 1) I'm dying 2) it cant be THAT bad?

I've spoken to my mom about this and she just laughs and said she remembers that she had bad MS up to 16 weeks with both me and my brother.

I went to the doctor and I am getting a B vitamin injection 3 times 2 days apart and he put me on ASIC tablets that make me feel that I'm on a trip.

I'm still feeling nauseous CONSTANTLY, I'm still exhausted and all I want to do is sleep. I have no hunger for ANY food but it seems that bland foods I can keep down.

PLEASE tell me this is normal. Please reassure me that my first pregnancy is going to become magical and that it will all be worth it? I'm just SO down in the dumps...

It's normal.

I find that I have to force something down, even if I feel sick, because I do feel better afterwards. And then when my stomach starts feeling empty again, the nausea returns. And then I have to eat again.

It's horrible having to eat when it's the last thing you feel like doing, but it helps. I find breadsticks, Hula Hoops and bread do the trick.

I found that wristbands against travel sickness really helped with the nausea for me. You can by them at any pharmacy I would imagine, maybe even a bigger supermarket will stock them. They're not expensive and might be worth a punt. They were a life saver for me.

I was exhausted too, the whole first trimester. I am now almost 13 weeks and I'm getting more energy. The nausea has gone too. My appetite was all over the place as well, and that seems to be sorting itself out now as well.

Hang in there, it's a horrible feeling and you kind of just have to deal with it, but chances are it will get better once you're past the first few months.
