Currently 33 weeks and been having very loose movements all week and have previously been constipated. I don't recall this so early on in previous pregnancy. I've also been having very strong Braxton hicks but these have subsided. Has anyone else had this so early on in later pregnancy? Should I be worried or is my body just getting prepared for further down the line? Feel like I'm being given a right clear out!Blush

I had the loose bowel movements on and off from about 33 weeks as well. No BH though. DD wasn't born until 39 weeks.

I can't stop pooping. It's horrible. 4/5x a day!! This is my 5th baby almost 22wks and I've never had anything like it before. As soon as I've eaten sometimes I'm rushing to the Loo. It's Gross lol.

I had this too started around 33 weeks having struggled to go previously. DS arrived at 41 weeks.

Same here, I think it's because my pelvic floor isn't as strong this time so the baby headbutting my bowels makes me want to go all the time. 40+5 and still waiting Sad

Phew, thanks ladies. Feel much more reassured now Smile - horrible though I agree!x

It's the hormones. The same ones that work on your ligaments relax the intestines.

Same reason people get horrible period poos
