I'm really getting myself worked up that I'll instantly be told no due to it being my first baby?

I did but it was for medical reasons and was pretty much decided I by my specialists before I got pregnant. I still had to fight the first consultant I saw. I spoke to my midwife about it and swapped consultants, the new one agreed at my 12wk appointment.
Good luck!

I did and to be honest didn't have the huge battle to get it agreed that I'd imagined. Just went in well informed and prepared and they were very accommodating.

I did but that was because she was breech so no advice, sorry.

Yes, but I very much didn't want it and argued against it but the baby was thought to be unlikely to withstand induction (my placenta was failing and the baby was growth restricted).

Yes and I had to fight the doctors despite the senior MW recommending it. It was upsetting to be honest, but if you hold firm you will get it and I'm convinced it was the right choice.
