Hi Guys,

I'm sure this has been covered somewhere else but I couldn't find anything recent. Please be patient with me if I've just overlooked something!

I've only just found out I am pregnant and still a little in shock as it was unplanned. I have seen the GP after multiple positive pregnancy tests and they estimated that I will be 7 weeks pregnant on Saturday.

The week before I found out I had super sore boobs, rock hard, very sensitive. Cramping on and off and super sensitive sense of smell.

This week nothing. My boobs are only sore if i poke them (hard) and have softened and don't feel as big. I've had a tiny bit of cramping but thats it. Sense of smell seems as normal. I've not had any nausea, just weird excess saliva.

Everything I have read has said I should have super sore boobs, nausea, exhaustion and I have none of these. I'm probably paranoid but I don't feel pregnant like I did before I took the test ( I knew before I even saw the result) but now nothing.

Reassurance required! I was in complete shock at first and super scared but already scared about losing the pregnancy.

Thank you

Could this be norm

I was the same as you, didn't feel stereotypically pregnant at all. Had to keep poking my boobs to make them hurt to reassure myself! Be grateful if you get away without any sickness, but I got nauseous at around 7-9 weeks and it was quite horrendous. You'll probably find it's just around the corner!
Congratulations and try not to worry too much Smile

Everyone is different. There's no 'should' in pregnancy. Try not to worry too much Smile

They come and go. I freaked out at total loss of symptoms at 8 weeks (knew I was pregnant at 4 due to strength of them!) Even went to EPU in a panic. wish I'd treasured it and got stuff done as they returned with a vengeance!

I thought i was going to get away with few symptoms then bang! Keep positive

Eminybob · 08/10/2014 16:55

Honestly don't worry, you could drive yourself mad overanalysing every symptom or lack of.

Of my 2 pregnancies, I had the most symptoms with the one I miscarried, so don't read anything into anything.

Thank you very much guys! I'm obviously newbie so panicking about everything! The GP didn't give much info just gave me a copy of 'Emma's Diary' and sent me on my way!
I just don't have anyone to talk to about it as we aren't telling anyone about the pregnancy just yet as it's such early days (that and my other half is still in a state of shock!)
So sorry for your loss Eminybob x

I had hardly any symptoms until around 9 weeks. But even now my symptoms come and go. Every pregnancy is different to the next so let's just pray the symptoms stay at bay haha

Sorehead · 08/10/2014 17:56

I drove my DH mad with my complaining about lack of symptoms.....then at around week 9 when they hit I complained about actually having symptoms!

I know people who've felt absolutely fine throughout the whole pregnancy and had healthy babies/ children so don't worry if you don't ever start feeling sick etc.....maybe just make up a few cravings to keep your other half on his toes Grin

Hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy!

In the same boat NRAR but slightly behind you, feel completely normal except for increased visits to the loo so feeling very very lucky, I think I even had the same doc's visit as you :)
