breech at 38.5 booked for cs - is there any hope?

Am completely gutted after 2 great births am now booked for cs for 3rd on Tuedsday. Is there any hope baby will still turn in next few days? Also how is recovery from cs coupled with looking after 2yo & 5yo????? Aaargh

Why are you booked early for the section?

i was booked for a turn at 38 weeks and when they scanned me before the turn ds was head down. I think it was all that time on my hands and knees with my bum in the air watching Eastenders that did it I think!! Have they not offered you a turn?

1st I live in Portugal where childbirth methods are 20 years behind UK. Also 1st birth was premmie & 2nd was 15 mins from water breaking to birth so Dr wants to cs early to avoid onset of labour & emergency cs
