im setting this up as i dont understand what i am now or will be untitled to as a first time mum bump is due in feb i work full time as does my partner any1 out there with any advice thanks.

It depends on yours and your partner's income. If you are not earning above about 20000, you can claim a sizable whack from tax credits.
