Is this SPD?

Hello,
I am 27 wks with DC2, I have a pre-existing spinal fracture, but it's not bothered me much so far, and not much in last pregnancy.
After a short walk with toddler DS today I am in agony, pain on left side of back, not like my usual pain, and agonising pain in my groin and down the inside of my left leg, is this SPD? Or just the baby in a funny place?
I have taken paracetamol and trying to rest.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Sounds similar to my sod which was all in the groin, also had sciatica down back of leg so that's possible too,see go for referral to physio if it continues

Spd not sod sorry

Can you lie down and then turn over by moving one knee out, then moving the other to join it? If not, and you have to keep your knees together, then I'm afraid spd is likely. Take the stairs one at a time, and that right infrequently as you can.

Sorry meant to add,you can buy a belt for under the bump to relieve some pressure,my physio recommended it to me,but at £40 I'd wait for diagnosis first

Thanks for replies.
No I can't do that Fastwindow, it's far to painful!
Should I speak to midwife or GP?
I have a bump support belt somewhere (wasn't £40 though!) I'll try and find that tomorrow.

You could talk to your midwife, but all I've ever read on here, you'll have had your baby by the time you get an appointment! The best thing to do is to manage it, and yes, a bump belt will help. I used a velcro weightlifting belt (which I have no idea why it was in my possession but there you go)

You have my sympathies... I just developed it in the last few days. It's making walking (and commuting) very very painful. Didn't have it with first and second babies. Gah. Belt coming via amazon on Friday so really hope that helps...
