muscle pain at 12 weeks?

I'm about 12 weeks, have had stomach pain for last few days if I move too fast, like pulling a muscle, but it's got worse today to the point that it hurts all the time, all down right hand side of bump. It gets much worse when I cough or laugh.

This is dc3, worth calling midwife or is it just my stomach muscles finally giving up on me?!

rightguard I'm 15 weeks with my first, and I've had this from around 10 weeks.

My pain is under where my 'bump' is, more in my pelvis than my stomach, but I know exactly what you mean about hurting more if I laugh or sneeze - I have to dig my fingers in to stop it hurting.

Everything is fine, and my midwife just said it was normal, so another joy of pregnancy it would seem.

I'm 10 + 5 and have been doubling over and clutching my belly really hard when I'm about to sneeze because I have a muscle somewhere on the right side of my little bump which seems to spasm if I cough, sneeze, or move too fast in certain directions. Getting a very full bladder aggravates it too, when I finally pee I get cramps afterwards which can be really painful.

This particular muscle feels like I might pull it and then be stuck with pain for ages, so I'm pretty scared of straining it. But glad to read that others think it's not a major problem, I guess I had been assuming it wasn't unless I do manage to pull the muscle.

Probably ligament pains. I've had them for weeks (12 weeks now). It's your ligaments adapting to accommodate your growing belly.
