Hi I am 29 weeks tomorrow not had a lot of movement for last two days maybe two today that I could say was a possible elbow poking me. When I rang for advice they were all for me going in to get checked until I said baby was breech at midwife appointment on Friday and they said I won't feel movements the same has anyone else heard this I thought it would still be the same?

I haven't heard this, my baby was breech at 28 week midwife check but still feeling lots of movement. So maybe just get it checked out, though its probably nothing.

You won't feel the same kind of movements in the same places as before but you should still get as many movements.

If you have reduced movements go and get checked out

Definitely get checked out. My last DC was and stayed breech, and this one (also 29 weeks) has been breech for the last few weeks. I feel movement differently with breech babies - all much lower down, and sometimes it's harder to feel, I.e. I'm not as conscious of it, and need to lie down to "check" on occasion. But if I lie down, I do feel the movements just as frequently as with a head down baby, just not as strongly and obviously if that makes sense.

My last baby was breech till 35 weeks and this one is as well. I went in for monitoring at 28 weeks due to reduced movements. Doesn't matter if it's breech or not if they're reduced they're reduced. Tell them you want seeing.

My dd was breech from as early as they could feel and never turned even with an ecv, had plenty of movement-she was 1st so don't know how movement differs but moved regularly at similar times of the day
