I've had an amnio so there's no margin of error, I'm having a girl! Anyone else certain about their baby's sex?

hey that's awesome.. was that the news you were hoping for?

We're still pretty much in the "won't find out till birth" camp.. but as time goes on I'm more and more tempted!

Congratulations....we're having a boy this time around....didn't find out the first time what the sex was but really wanted to know this time....good luck!!

I saw this and had to add to it!

I'm pregnant with DB3 (third and final!) With DB1, we couldn't wait to find out, I really wanted a baby boy so I thought it'll be a girl (not that it would have mattered in the slightest) We found out at the scan it was a boy!.
With DB2 I hoped it would be a girl as we'd have one of each and our family would be complete so to speak. Well, again we found out at the scan and it was another boy! Great! A playmate for DS1.

With DB3, I was utterly convinced this time it would be a girl. The pregnancy was so different. I wanted sweet stuff, not savoury like the two before, I can't stand meat (even now at 29 weeks I'm not keen) I was so sick in the early stages. Well, already having two boys it was also a matter of practicallity finding out what we were having what with all the toys / clothes that DB3 will have passed down. We even paid for a gender scan privately as we were so excited to find out the sex! Well, we found out.... its another boy!
I was shocked but happy, I always thought I'd have three boys even from a very young age.

This is it now, no trying for a baby girl, I've come to the conclusion that DH only makes boys so to speak and I feel very blessed with the ones I've got! WE're eagerly awaiting DB3's arrival in early Dec.

Must say to those of you who don't find out, I admire your patience, I really couldn't wait the whole time to find out.

Congrats to everyone. With my DD1, I ONLY wanted a boy, I was young and naive, but the second she was born I was so happy and glad she wasn't after all. Then with DD2, I would have liked a boy, because I,naively again, thought it would be impossible to love two girls the same.Yes, I was an idiot! Was SO delighted when she arrived, I loved saying The Girls, lol. Because it was so long ago since I was last pregnant, finding out sex back then was never an option anyway. This time around, due to all the worry we've been through, my concern about my age and the high risk AFP test, we decided that as a treat to ourselves, we'd find out gender. My DP, who is not father to my two girls, although he's raised them as his own, was kind of hoping in the usual guy way that it was a boy, but he's as pleased as I am. As long as she's healthy he's happy. I feel more bonded to bump now, and it's lovely to refer to her as she. I cannot wait to meet her in February.
